Setting up production has me running around like a chicken with his head cut off....

I've been in Colombia now for a bit over two months. I've been meaning to post pictures of of the comps I went to when I first got to Cali with Alejandro Caro, but to be honest, there seems to not be enough time in the day to get everything done, and still have time to sit and write. Jason and I set up shop on the Third Floor of a house and it took literally 6.5 weeks for Movistar to reconnect internet service, and even now that that is done, uploading things is painfully slow. The benefits of being on the third floor and the router being on the first floor.

Its also taken longer to get shoe production running then I had anticipated and had planned. The manufacturer that was going to make our shoes, just couldn't keep up with the quality and qty asked, so had to find a new manufacturer and get them up to speed on what we are doing and the how and why we are doing it. To be completely honest, looking back on it now, that we have shoes in production and things are running smoothly, i'm glad everything that happened happened when it did and  how it did, because I got to work the kinks out of the supply chain before it was a big order which could have been horrible, or even worse, end up with shoes that aren't up to standard of quality that I have set forth.

These are the best SCg Shoe Co shoes to date, and I'm proud of that. Getting an awesome team of great people involved all around me, on the manufacturing side of things as well as on the riding side of things. Thank you guys for your dedication and hard work..

June 5th, I will be heading back to Tampa FL, and will have production shoes ready to go and ship out. Thank You all whom have ordered some shoes and have been patient as the bugs got worked out. I would rather wait a bit and get it right the first time, then come out of the gate a bit faster and make some big mistakes along the way..

Thank You...
